About Karlsberg
Karlsberg is a country property in a picturesque location surrounded by fields and forest in south-west Sweden. We have been owners of Karlsberg since 1987. It was previously a small dairy owned by Bengt’s parents and still produces grain crops.

 In 1996 we acquired a neighbouring property dating from the 1800s, which we have renovated and restored as a bed and breakfast, as well as a bakehouse. We’re open all year round.

Bed and breakfast
We provide bed and breakfast in a relaxing environment close to nature. During your visit, you stay in a newly renovated house from the 1800s where you can hear the creaking of the floorboards underfoot. You sleep in a comfortable bed, with a generous breakfast awaiting you in the morning. You have kitchen access for preparing your own meals if you choose. Groups of eight or more can even order meals from us. You are close to nature and forest where you can cycle or walk. We’re also happy to help you organize other activities.

E6 from the north:
After Varberg turn towards Tvååker, then at the roundabout drive in the direction of Sibbarp. After 5 km (or 3 miles) turn right towards Björnås, then after 1 km (just over half a mile) turn left towards Guttared. After another 1 km (about half a mile) turn right at the ‘Rum och Frukost’ (bed and breakfast) sign and you’ll see a yellow house. You’ve arrived!
E6 from the south:
After Falkenberg, turn towards Långås and drive towards the village. At the roundabout drive in the direction of Sibbarp. After about 10 km (6 miles) turn left towards Tvååker at the T-junction. After about another 2 km (a little over a mile) turn left at the ‘Rum och Frukost Karlsberg’ (Karlsberg bed and breakfast) sign, then after 2 km (a little over a mile) you’ll see another ‘Rum och Frukost’ sign where you turn left to a yellow house.

Other services we provide
We provide catering for a variety of occasions, either everyday or celebrations. As well, we offer a unique baking experience where we bake delicious bread in a wood-fired oven in a genuine 1800s bakehouse. The freshly baked bread is then included as part of a light meal. We also organize conferences for smaller groups where you can choose to include preparing food, relaxation, massage, coaching etc.
